George W. Bush had a rare funny moment...

...or, should I say, his speech writers came up with a great punchline.

With the Superbowl Champion New York Giants assembled at the White House today, the president noted quite humbly that the Giants defeated a team from his home state—the Dallas Cowboys—before going on to squash the Patriots.

"I'm a good sport," Bush said at the ceremony. "We're going to send Jessica Simpson to the Democrat National Convention."
