We're off to Puerto Rico!

Hello lovely lil bees. I want to thank you for all the contributions you've made to our Save-a-Sato Fundraiser. This collective effort will help feed, treat, and house the abused and abandoned dogs and cats ("satos") in Puerto Rico. It warms my heart to know that more dogs like Paco will be placed in good homes.

There's still time to get involved.

Click here for a full list of items in need at Save-a-Sato shelters, many of which you have in your tiny NYC apartment (or office supply closet):

  • Cotton sheets (new and used, any size)
  • Bath towels and wash cloths (new and used)
  • Cotton balls (large) and Ziploc bags
  • Boxes of disposable latex gloves (large)
  • Thick or sturdy cleaning rags (new or used)
  • Yellow legal pads
  • Benadryl (children’s flavored liquid or regular tablets – allergy formula only)
  • Expectorant cough medicine in DM formula: Robitussin DM or Tussin DM

Consider this spring cleaning for a cause.

For all you lovelies who'd prefer an online transaction, you can make a tax-deductable donation here, or donate a Kuranda dog bed, which provides comfortable sleeping arrangements for shelter dogs.

The shipment is going out on Thursday, May 15, so please leave a comment here if you'd like to make a donation.
