Everyone I know seems to be going to New Orleans lately, either for work or pleasure. I was fortunate enough to travel through Louisiana on my
cross-country trip a few years ago, right before Katrina, but these photographs by Roy Barloga make me want to go back now and
support the city.

The bottom image is a shot of Central Park. Couldn't resist.

Oh, it was (is) one of my favorite cities. I long to go back as well. It's been years.
I love, LOVE, the pictures. What an interesting blog you have. Thanks for stopping by to say Hello.
Right back atcha!
Just checked out his site - you're right - really beautiful images. I lived in NYC for years and he has really capture the essence of central park - a haven in the city.
I've never been but would like to go....especially after seeing these pictures. Beautiful!
Never been. Hopefully I will get there soon :) Gorgeous photos!
Beautiful pics of Naw'lins!! I've never been. It's always been on The List, but something else has alway come up at the last minute.
Ah, The List. I have so many lists. In fact, I think I will share them...soon...
Lovely pictures. I especially love the one of Central Park. I love photos of CP.
When I was in college, I would go to New Orleans VERY OFTEN on weekends to party. It was about a six-hour drive but worth it! So much fun (pre-Katrina). Such a lovely city.
A bit late on the comment board, but regardless! Those are all photos of Audubon Park - an area I run to every single day. It is such a beautiful spot in the city - worth checking out, for sure! New Orleans has so much to offer, even post-Katrina. We have bounced back wonderfully. Come visit us!! =) Thanks for the highlight.
