What if there were one single dove amongst those pigeons?...
Could he make an impact? Would he know he was different? Would he miss his mom and dad?

I think family is relative... not just something you're born into but something you can create by the people and things with whom you surround yourself. Friends, loved ones... past and present. And even when they move on, they're still with us. I take comfort in that.

I agree with you about family...this one hit really close to home as my great grandmother passed away one year ago yesterday..
Lovely photos. I agree - a family is what you create. I have a small group of friends that I refer to as the "urban family" - they are friends, but really family!
"Would he miss his Mom and Dad?"

"family is relative" - an adorable (unintended?) pun!
My parents and brothers spread across different countries and I miss them so much; I make an effort every day to keep in touch with them (we have epic email chains). x
Lovely images.
Bee, what a beautiful shoot, and such lovely sentiments!
Hope you're having a great week so far,
xo
I have definitely learned this for myself, this year, but thank you for the reminder! You are a gem, Bee!
