Well, hello. For those of us living in the northeast, it most certainly does not feel like Spring is approaching anytime soon. Which is why today's guest post is especially apropos. It's by fellow blogger Amy of Doobleh-vay and Little Alouette, and if you follow her instructions on how to stay inspired, we just might see some sunshine peeking through that blustering blizzard of white.
So, go whip up some hot cocoa and settle into her thoughts. If you need me, I'll be wrapped up by the fireplace, sipping some peppermint tea. It's my favorite way to recharge...

I am wicked into the coming of Spring. This winter has been particularly flattening to my soul and I need a lift in my step, a flounce in my skirt, and some sun on my face. Inspiration is my BFF. I crave it. I need it. I seek it out daily. Can I share some recent sources? Come drink at the well with me, won’t you?
*When I am feeling less than pretty, I run right over here and feel better almost instantly. She gives me shimmer and shine and the spark again.

*Some new art by the fierce Rob Jones for my freshly painted walls.

*Easter! Peeps and bunnies...
...and dresses!

That first photo needs to be framed and hung in my kitchen. YUM!
This winter has done a number on me as well. Especially the current white-out outside. Flickr is a great help - as are all the lovely blogs with inspiring photos - so thanks!
Wheeeeeeee!!!!!! I heart you! xoxo
Oh I love Mary's tumblr too - she always has such inspiring photos!
Lovely post! Im a bit sad and get uber excited when snowdrops and little crocuses come out in forests and fields and go out to take pics. that and buying flowery clothes - of course!! xx
I love that first picture. It reminds me of fresh-baked cupcakes with pink frosting.
Spring 2009 sounds so good to my ears, so blissful. To answer your question and share a little bit of me on this winderful blog, i'll say that the opening of my own business, a bakery cafe on the countryside of quebec, Canada, is exciting for spring. That is a dream come true (even if it sounds a little ringuard).
I grew up DC and still live in that area. So spring to me is all about clouds of cherry blossom petals blowing through the streets. It's pink snow. Combined with a warm breeze - this inspires my icy winter layer to thaw and my heart to glow.
had to kirtsy all my girls. xoxo.
Marie-Eve: Congratulations, that is amazing!!
KCH: That sounds like heaven to me. I love cherry blossoms.
Nicki: Your whole world sounds like a fairy tale sometimes. I adore it!
Karey M: Miss you, munchkin!
oh man, that dress is killer
Wow! That dress is to kill for! Who wouldn't?! lol
But really, its so lovely. I want it bad!
Oh, I love posts like this.
What do I do? On the first warm day, I spend the entire afternoon after school in the hammock. Then, dinner outside, under the tree. Sloane and I paint each other's toenails, too. And, we go shopping for new sandals and Easter outfits.
