Maternity swimwear.

Be honest. What's your take on women who wear two-pieces while pregnant? Normally I'm not a fan—I don't find it cute to wear your tummy as an accessory. But this swimsuit by Anthropologie is just so damn adorable!

What do you think? Go for it or keep searching for a one-piece?

I don't particularly think pregnant women in belly shirts is the most attractive thing but a swimsuit is a totally different. Definitely go for the two piece. Bearing your pregnant belly in a bikini is totally appropriate and I'm sure it would look adorable.

i say go for it. I don't mind belly in two pieces. i think is shows a bit of sexiness, a women comfortable in her own skin.

the short shirts different story.

ah ha! i just went suit shopping with a pregnant friend last weekend and we discussed this very thing. she had actually bought a maternity one-piece as an emergency suit a few weeks before but HATED how she looked and felt in it. we had a long discussion about it and she ended up with a tankini that just gives a peak of her belly--because it looked better than the rest. so really, i think it all depends on the person and the selection (which i would say about any women and bikinis!).

I think it's all in the way you wear it. If you feel good and confident in it, it's going to look terrific. And everyone else will be jealous that you look so amazing. It's a really sweet suit and, while we haven't really seen you pregant, I imagine you will look great in it!

I think this is classy enough to be pulled off, it's not tied together by strings and whatnot... I think it'll be cute! Everyone loves a pregnant belly :)

I wore a bikini when I was pregnant and I never wore them before that. It was so much better then a one-piece. One piece bathing suits and hose/tights when pregnant are just not cool. :)

I didn't do it, but done right (and this suit is so right) it is super adorable...go for it!

I think you have to go with what makes you fell good. I love my pregnancy swimsuit but in general I am not a 2 piece gal - although I attempted it this year but the top was too small :(
If you think you look good and you feel good I say go for it!

If you're comfortable enough with the way you look in it, wear it. Like you would with any swimsuit. It's adorable, and pregnancy can be beautiful(though it has moments when 'beautiful' isn't exactly the word that comes to mind), and bare bellies are more than acceptable.

I say it's a DO. You can totally rock that look.

Wow, that suit is so cute! I'm totally all for wearing a two piece while pregnant. Why look like a beached whale even if you feel like one? As long as there's no stretch marks and you're all belly, I say go for it. I can't say I've seen any cute maternity swimsuits ever, so I always just wore my bikini. Plus, I didn't really want to spend the money on a new one. I don't think you should change your entire wardrobe just because you're going to have a baby. Now, normal everyday clothes- no, no belly. That's white trashy.
I hope you buy this suit because I wish I could!

Totally depends on your comfort level. If you're confident about it, go for it. I had a HUGE baby and got a HUGE belly very early. Nobody wanted to see that thing. Ah ha.

the suit is adorable, but it might hit at the widest part of your baby bump... i say wait for it to go on sale & get it for next summer--post-baby!

i, apparently, am in the minority with my love for the pregnant belly. i say show it but that's just me :-)

I've been wearing my bikini (I'm 7 mos pregnant)... hopefully I'm not offending anyone at the beach or pool, but I tried a tankini and I felt huge. And I'm not a one piece girl. I say do whatever makes YOU feel most comfortable.

I REFUSED to wear a butt-ugly one-piece when preggo...I wore a two-piece that cut under the tummy, rather than across. Lucky me, I never got stretch marks. I saw a pic of myself from back then (15 years ago! Whoa!), and I still say I made the right call.

Go for it!
When you are pregnant I feel you have the right to do whatever your little heart desires.
You are carrying another little human around...you can wear whatever you like!
And it is really cute...

We were in palm springs lounging at the pool this last weekend and so naturally I was thinking about this exact topic. Personally I was in two piece - tankini style, although the tankini was long so it covered my growing belly. I can't buy maternity swim suits - they are UGLY - and they are NOT flattering! I say buy that bikini. It is super cute and therefore you will look cute. Besides, a pregnant woman can wear whatever she wants!!
