Antique medicine jars

Our upstairs bathroom has a glass cabinet on the wall, which means everything inside is visible. Not the best storage solution for unsightly tubes and containers. So, when I stumbled across these antique medicine jars from etsy shop greatfindz, I pounced on them, stat!
Cotton = Q-tips and cotton balls
Tongue Depressors = Lip glosses and dental flosses (so very Dr. Seuss, don't you think?)
Applicators = Makeup brushes
Gauze = Hmm... hair ties?

so precious and practical all at once! what about first aid type of things in the 'gauze' jar like a few loose band-aids, neosporin, etc.?

good pounce--these are so sweet...like a little 1950's doc's office--at your fingertips and cute too.

How fun! Love these!! If you use make-up sponges, then you could put them in the gauze... but it always seems like I'm chasing hair ties around the house. :)

I love these too! And also, stopping by from ...lovemaegan to say, YES - that is the Mossimo Dress from Target! I'm thinking of buying 10 more, seriously.

Oh, so pretty! I would just display them on my mantle. Because I display empty mason jars on my mantle.

Wow, my grandma totally had those in her bathroom when I was little and I thought they were great then. My grandma was always so organized and put together right down to the bathroom countertops.

Pretty much if you ever get lucky enough to spot those again, you should give me a heads up because I'm in desperate NEED now.

Em: I like that idea for the Gauze!

818: I knew it! So comfortable, right?

Mrs. Boo: So funny because I have an ongoing search for mason jars for our mantle, too! I want to fill them with white and black marbles. Kind of weird, I know, but I think it'll look cute.

Misty: I will keep an eye open:) I just did a search on etsy and got lucky I suppose!

Anon (AKA MY HUSBAND): Nice job sneaking that one in! Love you:)

Those are so awesome!

But no suggestions on gauze. Do you use many bandaids?
