Are we fighting? Last week I said I miss NYC. And I do. But maybe you took it the wrong way. Lately you seem down. Pouting even. So, I thought I would take this time to list some of the things I like most about you.
For starters, you came with a big refrigerator, not a mini. This means we can have lots of different kinds of peanut butter and jelly.
You have all different colored flowers in the backyard. Some are yellow and black...

...and some are purple with butterflies.

...and some are purple with butterflies.
Your kitchen is old and has speckles on the counters. But, we think they add character. Like freckles. (Just to show you how much I care, I've even added a '50s-style filter to this photo. Cause you're old school, house!)
Also, you look pretty in winter.
And have a working fireplace.
And, my favorite part of all, you have a curved red door. Nobody in the city has a curved red door.
House, I love you. You make us happy and keep us warm. You are my favorite house.
Love,
Bee

I'm gonna cry. Your house is so lucky. And so adorable. Will you open a shop to sell big prints of your red door, please? I want one.
Love your house and the red door!! Such character. :)
That was a very funny and touchingly sweet post - I enjoyed reading it. I too have a little love affair going with my own little house. Yay for old houses that keep us cozy and warm - drafty windows and all!

Dear House I have seen a peak of the love, warmth and kindness you give to your family. You provide shelter and beauty all into one. I have fallen in love with your character of innocence, yet inviting and a bit of flair and sassy with your red color door. I love how the door is rounded as to hug each friend that comes through your doorway. Shhh... please don't tell my home I am admiring another.
Signed,
Your secret admirer
xoxo

I love your house! I wish I could write a love letter to my house, but lately it would read: Dear House, Yes, you are fancy and fabulous but I am sick and tired of paying so much money for you. I daydream of downsizing and vacationing more. Sigh. Maybe I need to paint my door red!
xo

When I first saw the photo of the house I said, "No way is that her house!" And it is! I LOVE IT! Love every single detail down to the Labrador Welcome sign and the exquisite black hinges on the red door! Wee Bee is going to be one lucky little girl to call this place home!

Ohhhh, I envy your house! I guess we always want we don't have. I know someday I'll miss living here terribly but for now, in the middle of August, when I am constantly sweaty and everything smells like piss, I envy you.
We don't even have air conditioning.
