Something new...

Today feels good. Fresh and exciting and full of energy. I can't quite put my finger on it—maybe it's the start of a new season approaching—but I feel really invigorated. And ready to start something new.
In that spirit, I want to introduce a new series called My Five Things. Inspired by this little project, My Five Things will be a place to share the 5 things you want to do in this lifetime. They can be things simple and small or vast and life-altering. There are no rules. Just a collection of goals you wish to accomplish. Because I truly believe that by putting it out there, you're that much more inclined to make it happen.

Would you like to play? If so, email me your list and I will post it. Here's mine:

1. Write a book
2. Travel around South America with Paulie and my girl
3. Visit the Glastonbury Music Festival (I've been obsessing since Stephanie posted about it!)
4. Learn how to play guitar (really this time)
5. Make a significant contribution to charity, including this one

I could go on and on...that's the fun of it! What's your list look like? I hope you'll play along!

Brilliant way to begin a Monday!

Love your list...and now I must come up with my top 5 (wow, this is going to be hard to narrow it down!).

I love when you do these posts because it really makes me reflect on what is important to me.

I haven't thought of five yet, but the first thing that popped into my mind was, "Change someone's life significantly." I am just starting my Masters in Speech Pathology & what I most look forward to is helping children and their families overcome major obstacles in communication.

On a different, slightly more bizarre note, last year I was told by a psychic at my mother's 60th birthday party that I have psychic powers. I kind of really want to harness those {in a way that doesn't totally creep me out.}

i stopped writing these kinds of lists because i always felt bad about myself if i didn't actually accomplish any of them.
maybe i'll rethink it, though...
