Head in the clouds.

Ever since I can remember, I have always loved to daydream.

Lying in a grassy field or on a hillside, nature was always my accomplice in letting my mind wander.

And when there were billowy clouds in the sky, this just added to my blissful state since finding animals, or other delightful formations in these white puffs just kept me flying high on ‘cloud 9’!

And believe it or not, it is still one of my favorite adult indulgences that I look forward to sharing with my little crumb.

Oh the fun things we will see….

Here’s to wishing Lil’ Bee many heart-filled daydreaming days with her Wee Bee!

This was always my favorite way to pass the time when I was younger. Laying in the side yard or front yard just me, my blanket and my dog. She and I would lay there for hours (she was usually my pillow). Great memories - thank your for sharing yours so I could remember mine! :)

What a wonderful pastime to pass down! Quite moments spent together are always the most memorable.

I looked at some of these and though "huh?" But when I really stopped and looked at them...amazing. I need to make more time for cloud gazing/daydreaming!

I love this. Teaching kids to dream is so important. Still dreaming as an adult is even more important.

Me too, I'm totally a daydreamer.

As for looking at the clouds, have you ever read the Children's book "It Looked like Spilt Milt?" I think you'd enjoy it, it's all about daydreaming and staring at the shapes that appear in clouds.
