In love with Costello Tagliapietra

Several weeks ago I suggested we play a game of Fantasy Fashion Week. Then things around Casa Bee got a little bananas and, well, I never ponied up my top picks from the runways. Forgive.

Though I think that ship has most definitely sailed, there are a few collections I'm still obsessing over, and one of those is Costello Tagliapietra. Their Spring 2010 line was the fashion equivalent of the perfect album... the one you can get lost in for hours and hours and there's not a single bad egg in the bunch (for me, this would be the Good Will Hunting soundtrack). Mira...

I actually went to high school with Rob Tagliapietra, one of the two geniuses behind this brand. And though I'm quite certain he wouldn't remember me, I imagine that he, too, credits Ms. A, our AP Art teacher, as the driving force behind his love of art. Makes me wish I'd followed my dream of becoming a painter. But I digress. Just look at all of this deliciousness...

100% in awe.

Oh man, I think I am now too! The cuts look so flattering to a woman's figure!

The second and third looks make me absolutely giddy. How lucky you are to have gone to school with half of the genius behind such a decadent line. I hope that means loads of glamorous freebies for you! :)

love the collection and the idea of a perfect album. i can't remember the last time i felt that way...perhaps it was 'august & everything after' by the counting crows. but i do love me some elliott smith from good will hunting too.
