Good grace

Yesterday we took Devon to her two-week checkup. While there, I seized the opportunity to weigh myself for the first time since my delivery and, turns out, I've lost 30 pounds! That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that I'm still very much in my maternity clothes, which should give you an idea of just how much weight I gained during my pregnancy. Moo.

Truth is, I don't have a clue how much I gained, because I haven't looked at a scale since my second trimester. Paul looks and writes it all down. When my arms stop resembling small thighs, I'll let him tell me the before and after.

Which brings me to today's post...

It's been ages since I've contemplated buying anything without a stretchable waistline or cushioned heel. But the new items over at adorable vintage shop Good Grace have me daydreaming of date nights with wine and picnics in the spring. Here are just a few faves I've got my eye on...

Love that pink dress. It reminds me of the more simple and elegant styles in the 80s. The lovely retro side of that notoriously day glo decade.
