Yesterday Paulie and his friend Anthony coached their school's modified football team to victory. It was a big game and marked the team's second undefeated season in a row. Yahtzee! And while I know how important the win was for Paul, I can only imagine how those kids felt last night after the game. Such a sense of accomplishment... the kind that only a coach or a really great teacher can bring out in a person.
To celebrate, I'm thinking we'll kick off the weekend with some Blue Moons (me), Octoberfests (Paulie), and two steaming hot bowls of clam chowder.
But first, a clip from one of my favorite movies of all time. You know the one...
She don't believe in shooting stars, but she believes in shoes and cars.

I have never seen this film before; but now that I've watched the clip, I truly want to.
Oh, and if the clam chowder is in crusty bread bowls send one my way. Sounds like heaven right now! :)
Hooray for Paulie + Co. Go Team! P.S. Such a great flick.
Cheers.
Congrats Paulie and team!
I can't watch the Rudy clip--no crying before 9am.
