Holidays are coming... holidays are coming...

Bees, are you ready for some holiday cheer? (Me too.)

This year my family and I have decided to cut back considerably on our holiday spending. And I've noticed something—when your budget is tiny, it forces you to be much more thoughtful with your purchases. Me gusta.

So, for your shopping pleasure, I've put together a 2009 holiday gift guide comprised entirely of items under $50, with some helpful tidbits along the way (need a hostess gift for your upcoming party? Check! Searching for an affordable Secret Santa gift? Check, check!). You'll also find some serious discounts and deals, courtesy of my *very* generous sponsors. Hope you like it and happy shopping!

Great ideas! My family is in the same boat this year and we have decided to cut back, as well. Another good idea is to make a donation to Heifer International. You can pick any amount to give and it will give to someone who really needs it, over and over again! I'm making a donation in my parents' name.
