Fashion Week is quickly approaching and I am beyond excited. Not because I'll be attending multiple shows, but because the sight of lanky models in impossibly beautiful clothes always helps me stay on track with my diet. In fact, I'm pretty sure I left a show one year and ordered up a batch of Blueprint Cleanse from my cell phone while hailing a cab. Don't judge. We all have our methods.
Last fall my favorite shows were Costello Tagliapietra and Alexander Wang, and I am *always* googoo-gahgah over Halston, Yigal Azrouel, and Max Azria. Quite honestly, if I could camp out all week in Bryant Park to catch every last show, I would. After all, tents are for camping, and the pretty ones at Bryant Park are just my style: hairspray not bug spray, stilettos not... sleeping bags. Stop judging. I know it's a stretch. I do not venture into the forest to sleep. That is where Freddy and Jason live.
Anyway... which collections are you most excited to see?
Oof! Kittens, I am *not* attending multiple shows this year...that's how that's supposed to read! I have been invited to a couple so far, which I am quite excited about, and will let you know if anymore fly my way. Crossing my fingers and my toes!

this post made me positively giddy and i share your feelings about camping. the closest i ever got was pitching a tent in my front yard. i made it til about 10pm and then my dad found me curled up in my sleeping bag wailing.
I can not wait for NYFW. I am squirming in my chair today waiting to be seated in one of those lovely tents. How long are you going to be in the city for?

I'm super excited too! I don't really have a single favorite, but I'm actually planning on seeing every SINGLE show! I'm excited to see what Thuy comes up with, she showed some amazing pieces for SS10. :)
Oh, and I'm hosting a home spa giveaway with some luxurious ecological European stuff. I'm sure you'd love it! :D

KCloset: I will be in on Monday for a presentation and potentially Tuesday, too, and then won't be back till the end of the week. We're actually going to be away on a MUCH needed mini vacay! What shows are you seeing?
I am going up Thursday and only staying until Sunday night :( I am attending the shows over the weekend and a few on Friday. My first year at NYFW so I am super excited!

I wish I could get to NYFW. That needs to happen sometime in my life haha. I am looking forward to what comes out of the PR season, Michael Kors, Marchesa, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs... on and on!
