Nope, not an emergency landing. At the Hotel Costa Verde in Costa Rica, you can stay in the 727 Fuselage Suite, a salvaged 1965 Boeing that comes equipped with two bedrooms, a dining area, and ridiculous views of the ocean and jungle.

Pablo, pack your bags.

no WAY! remember how i was telling you about the Caribbean Zone, a cuban restaurant in sf that had a plane crashed through half of the place? this is so similar and such a fun idea! too bad i feel panicky even thinking about getting on a plane.
so cool and trippy! reminds me of Lost. :)
This reminds me of LOST! Absolutely love...
Very cool! We went to a similar restaurant in Costa Rica that was built around a plane, and the bar was inside the plane.
Oh my word, that looks amazing! I'd love to stay there.
Fun! I love quirky hotels. LOL, I was just going to comment that this totes reminds me of Lost, but a few readers beat me to it. Glad to see there are fellow Lost fans out there! :)
NO WAY! How cool?!?!??! Shoot and we just booked our honeymoon ;)
those costa ricans sure love their planes-turned-something else... when i was in manuel antonio (beautiful beach which i highly recommend), we ate nightly at an old-plane-turned-restaurant. it was incredible! down the road was an old-train-car-turned restaurant as well. now that's living thriftily.
holy crap! I've been to costa rica and never saw anything THIS cool! I want to go to there!
This is so cool. There's also this restaurant in Costa Rica that we went to:

This totally reminded me of LOST
yep. this is lost meets swiss family robinson but styled by sex and the city.
i would love it but totally fear finding polar bears screaming through the jungle.
this is ahh-ma-zing! xo
amazing!
how fun would it be to say you stayed there?
thanks for sharing!
Wow how cool! It reminds me of Lost, but without the whole creepy island, smoke monster, Jacob, Others, etc. etc. thingy :)
What a cool idea though. Thanks so much for sharing!!
I stayed at this hotel over New Year's. Very nice place, tons of amazing views (the "adult" pool, which just means they have a bar and serve alcohol, is great). Short walk or bus ride to the Manuel Antonio National Park.
For obvious reasons we didn't get to tour the plane room, but saw a lot of pictures and it seemed really cool. While not common, there are a few of these around.
The hotel also has a former train that is a hot dog stand.
been to the avion in costa rica - a restaurant that's very similar.
mmm, costa rica...
this is SO amazing!!!
wow! Costa Rica must be obsessed with planes-turned-hotel-rooms-or-restaurants.... When my fiance and I went last year we went to El Avion in Manuel Antonio, a restaurant set in a retired army transport plane
