The other night, while I was feeding Devon, Paul came upstairs to keep me company. We turned on her U2 Rockabye Baby CD (baby girl likes Bono on the handbells), and as Sunday Bloody Sunday tiptoed through the speakers, I looked up to find Paul doing a mock interpretive dance! I'm talking wild gestures with genuflecting and high kicks. It was hysterical and reminded me that late nights aren't so bad when you've got live entertainment and a comfortable chair.
Whether you have a bebe or just like falling asleep to peaceful music, I think the Rockabye Baby CDs are delightful.

I LOVE the rockabye baby series!! I don't even have a baby yet, but think they're super rad. The U2 and Nirvana are my faves...
aren't these great? Peter falls asleep to The Beatles CD every night. Across the Universe just sends him into slumberland!
The Eagles one is also pretty great - I have it on my iTunes and find myself listening to it at work - with no baby! :)
I almost always get a cd to give at baby showers! It's such a great idea :)
I was just checking out the Rockabye cds on Amazon the other night! I think we'll probably pick up a few for our little one.
i am not a fan of radiohead. apparently i'm in the minority.
however, the rockabye radiohead is...yes, amazing.
My husband and I do silly interpretative dances a lot. It's like our number one form of entertainment.
This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! I'm tucking this away for our someday baby. So great.
Thanks! For the laugh and the recommendation!
I'm going to have to check these CDs out! Thanks for the tip!!
I've been having trouble sleeping...maybe I should invest in the CD!! xoxo
oh my G-d!!!!! Wow...I can't believe this!! I am SO ordering this Bono Lullabye cd...hello, his voice is already like a lullabye. Do you have to prove that you have children? Hope not...
This sounds so cool - I think we need the Bob Marley one at our casa!
I registered for these. can't wait! they have coldplay and a bunch of others too. I'm excited for the beatles - the original and the rock-a-bye:)
haha, aw, this made me smile. xo
We have Rockabye Baby's Led Zeppelin and PInk Floyd cds. LOVE the Pink Floyd one. But I bet it would be better with Paul's moves.
For fun kids music that won't drive you bloody batty, get They Might Be Giants' Here Come the 1-2-3's, Here Comes Science, and Here Come the A-B-C's. In that order. They are so fun! My kids love them and my little Ab might have a bit of an OCD obsession going on with their music. I'm just glad it's not "Knick-Knack-Paddy-Whack-Give a dog a bone" a hundred and twelve times a day.
