- The Funeral
- Kind of a morbid song, but I die for it. {wink!}
- A two-day work week is wonderful.
- Scrunchies shouldn't be allowed.
- That guy looks like a whiter Pauly D.
- He definitely got home from the clubs at 8am yesterday morning.
- How did I used to do that?
- If I put on my purple tube top from my club days, it would look like a bandeau bra.
- Or a very unfortunately placed pair of Spanx.
- I wonder what my 23-year-old self would say to me today.
- Probably, "Nice job. Cute husband. Didn't he take us to the prom? You could use some Botox."
- And I'd tell her, "Enjoy this time with your friends, because one day they'll all pair off and move off and have babies. Don't be so shy about going out on dates, you ARE skinny, and give people a chance. So far, so good, little Melisa."
- Why does the train have no temperature control? I'm either chilling in an ice box or roasting on an m.f. furnace.
- I'd take an ice box any day. Being hot makes me crabby.
- This ride is whipping by. So have the last ten years.
- Which means, before I know it, Devon will be in fifth grade.
- And I'll be saying things like, "The music's too loud. Daddy can't take all the commotion. Have you seen my Depends?"
- Never!!
- Jezebel
Your turn.

You make me laugh....so hard, I can feel it in my ribs! On that note:
I can't believe I'm not still pregnant.
It's almost THANKSGIVING????
Charlie's smiles are getting bigger, his laughs are getting louder and his sleeping at night is getting longer!! {thank g-d}.
If I can make blogging my full time stay at home mom job, that'd be GREAT.
I'll probably have to finish my masters and go to work anyway.
I'm finally getting that cut/color I desperately wanted for the past year, tomorrow.
I really could use a new winter coat and amazingly awesome, yet comfy black boots.
Have the Disney lullaby CD on my brain...like 24 hrs a day.
that's super cute. I'll do it tomorrow maybe on my blog!
Aww I love this so much! I wish I could meet myself in 10 years time. I'd love to know what my older self has to say to my younger self :)

i love love that song aside from the slight morbidness of it and I love reading these posts!
This post is hillarious. I too think of what I would have told myself 5 years ago if I saw myself now!

I love these, and that you wrote this on the train. There were no laptops and barely any internet when I took the train... that's how fast time is flying. I wish I could have told that young self riding the train that it gets better.
4 1/2 inch heels.
I've never done that before.
It's been almost 48 hours-I hope the feeling comes back in my toe.
When you're 5'11", a lot of people are shorter than you.
Which is really so cool for a night.
love these monday musings....i've pulled out my old club clothes and little by little they each get sent to charity each year...
hahahahah i love all of your lists! i'm thinking what is that rack of gorgeous sparkly clothes!

-My feet look fat
I'd like to think stuff more insightful but that's all I got right now :)
I love these Monday posts! The idea of Devon as a 5th grader is just beyond words-I can only imagine how fun she will be then!
I love the idea of thinking what my younger self would say to my present self & vice versa. If only I'd known then how perfectly everything would turn out!
WOW...your brain is on fire this morning!! I'm just having my coffee...no thoughts yet -
Now what's on my mind are those insanely gorgeous clothes in the pic!
I like your note to your 23 yr old self. I'm 24. Fresh faced California native newly arrived in Amsterdam. (Due to the graces of love, of course). I oftentimes think things are crazy but hopefully in several years I will appreciate more than cringe at the decisions I made.
