What a lovely post. I left New york for about a year and when I would visit all the little things you adored on your walk I felt too. The things I take for granted walking down the street now are all things I will love someday when I live away from this intoxicating city. Beautiful bee! I can't get over how funny it is that my two fave bloggers (you and Emily of cupcakes and cashmere of course) are putting up posts honoring manhattan on the day I am visiting! I too moved out of this city in may but I'm with you when you say it still feels like home. Our cab flew by my old street and I couldnt help but get a tad nostalgic.

These photos are beautiful! I've always wanted to go to New York. I really wish I'd have made it there when we were "so close" in Vermont. Oh, well. One day I will make it there!
